Hi, I'm Paul Mansfield, your local Liberal for Darling Range.

I have a deep affection for our community.

 

From Roleystone to Keysbrook, Darling Range is a brilliant place to live, work, and raise a family.

 

I wear many hats – father, husband, coach, teacher, and volunteer. These roles have instilled in me the importance of hard work and have empowered me to effectively advocate for our community.

 

After finishing school, I pursued an apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner before studying a business degree and starting my own small business. Running a small business is challenging. Excessive regulation and red tape make it even tougher to take on more people and keep the doors open.

 

Our lives took an unexpected turn when my daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, leading me to become a stay-at-home parent. Through this journey, I gained a profound appreciation for our health system and understanding of just how much work needs to be done to get it back on track.   

 

I later went on to earn a diploma in teaching from ECU and now work as a high school teacher, a role that is incredibly fulfilling.

 

While our community is already a fantastic place to live, I believe it can be even better.

 

As a specialist high school teacher of neuro diverse students, I am passionate about ensuring our local schools receive the support and funding they need to support the next generation of students.

 

As part of the Liberal team, I am also fighting for real action to lower the cost of living, crack down on crime, and secure critical investment in local roads and infrastructure.

 

I have the energy and determination to represent you in the State Parliament.
